Merchandise & Rooftop Furniture

Thirty-two cedar barstool tops and two benches for the rooftop bar, plus bleached-oak nesting tables for the merch store.

Furniture and signage for the merchandise store and the rooftop bar. The nesting merchandise tables are red oak bleached white on welded steel bases, the pale tops letting the merchandise shine.

The rooftop barstools started as aluminum stools whose round seats bent and dented within a couple of years, so I replaced the tops with cedar, each with a recess cut into its underside to hide the spin bearing assembly. Twenty-six went out the first year and another six the year after. Two cedar benches followed, on custom mild steel bases. Stools and benches are both finished in resin-modified tung oil and built for three-season use outdoors. The QR signs are thermally modified ash and acrylic, with the code laser-engraved and the text UV-printed on equipment at the local public library.
