Two regulation ping-pong tables, each built in halves from 25mm Baltic birch, a premium ply chosen to hold the surface dead flat, with mild steel square tube stiffening the underside. Brass nuts set permanently into the taproom floor accept 1-inch Acme threaded rod, and a clamp nut on each rod carries the leg and sets the height, so the tables level to an uneven floor and lock in place. A square tube span ties the legs together, and linchpins hold the whole assembly to the tabletop halves.

Everything packs flat when the floor is needed for something else. Both tops are sprayed HVLP: three colored stripes down the center in the brand’s colorway, a white stripe around the perimeter, and bare birch on either side, then topcoated in oil-based polyurethane.
