A 5-foot wearable mascot for taproom and offsite events, built to a character concept from the brewery’s marketing team. The brief called for a can that read as a can rather than a cartoon. A few 3D-printed scale prototypes and a wooden manikin sorted out how it would all work.

The body is polyethylene foam with a pull tab in EVA foam, formed over a frame of PVC pipe and repurposed flat-edge hula hoops. An external-frame backpack inside carries the load. An FPV camera and batteries sit concealed inside the Rhinegeist logo on the front, linked wirelessly to goggles worn by the operator.

The brief required Canny to display extensive text and a UPC barcode, so I had the skin printed to spec by a local flag maker. Finished weight came in under 15 pounds.
